MATERIAL SPECS: Our garden gate frames are made from structural grade extruded aluminum. All other elements of our garden gates including hinges, latches, dead bolts, ground anchors and rollers are designed and engineered to minimize or eliminate maintenance costs and rust/corrosion concerns by using stainless steel or galvanized metal components. The fence gate or panel sections are carefully hand prepped and pre-finished with a factory applied four-coat acrylic paint available in a wide range of colors as well as faux finishes in Antique Bronze, Antique Patina Green and Antique Gun Metal Gray. We also have traditional finishes in Black and White as well as amazing Metallic paint finishes in bronze and gold. The aluminum garden gate hinge system consists of a stainless steel pin-and-barrel hinge and ball bearing load point. Depending on gate size and weight, hinges are engineered to a maximum 600 lb. load per hinge. Though our aluminum fence gates average out to about 5lbs per square foot. Hinges are welded to a galvanized steel bracket secured to the aluminum extruded frame by four 1/4” steel rivet pins. Brackets and hinges come pre-finished to match the gate paint finish. The aluminum fence gate perimeter frames are made with heavy-duty, extruded 6063 aluminum profiles. The standard frame used on most of our garden fence gates measures approximately 1.5” x 3”. However we also offer a standard aluminum tube frame that is 2" wide. Each garden and courtyard gate frame comes hinged with a solid bronze lockable lever as well as a ground anchor. A properly installed and connected gate will bring many long years of servitude so be sure that your installer is a reputable and capable professional.
